With our new legislature we have a new opportunity to change our gun laws in Michigan. The new majorities in Lansing actually campaigned on gun violence legislation.
But change isn't going to happen by itself. We're going to have to fight for it.
Please join End Gun Violence Michigan at one of our January 18 2023 launch events throughout the state. Three area event locations are listed below.
Educators, clergy, students, physicians, elected officials, and community leaders are all coming together to call for change.
We're calling for the passage of red flag laws, universal background checks, prohibiting domestic abusers from accessing guns, and extreme risk protection orders (red flag laws) to prevent mass shootings and suicides.
