Congressman Peters to Host Public Forum on 2/20

On Monday, February 20th from 6:30-8:00 pm at Oakland Community College's Orchard Ridge Campus, Congressman Gary Peters will host a public forum with officials from the newly formed Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. This event will provide a public venue for Michigan residents to learn about how this new federal agency helps families deal with unfair or abusive credit card, mortgage or banking practices.  Below you will find the info for the event as well as a flyer attached to this email.

U.S. Representative Gary Peters, and Zixta Martinez, Assistant Director for Community Affairs from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau along with Representatives from local agencies will be on hand to speak with constituents about how the CFPB helps families deal with unfair or abusive credit card, mortgage or banking practices.
