John Dingell's shadow loomed large over the Detroit area, the state of Michigan and the entire nation for 60 years.
He played a major role in the passage of the Clean Air Act, the Civil Rights Act, the Endangered Species Act, the creation of the Children's Health Insurance Program and of course the Patient Protection & Affordable Care Act, to name but a few.
The BB Dems express our deepest sympathies to his loving wife Rep. Debbie Dingell and family, as well as to his many friends and colleagues on their (and all of our) loss.
May his memory be a blessing now and forever.
